Diaphragm Breathing - Lying Position
Begin by focusing on the initial breathing in. This is a crucial step as it sets the foundation for the technique. Please pay close attention to your stomach, ensuring it expands as the air is drawn in. This is the correct technique, preventing any unnecessary tightening.
Once you have mastered that, you can focus on breathing out correctly. That is when your stomach should tighten.
The lying position helps your nervous system relax, and bending your knee relieves tension in your latissimus (back muscle) and hip flexors.
Perform 3 sets of 15-20 breaths with a break in between
